PTI Central Office in Islamabad Sealed

The central office of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Islamabad has been sealed by the Capital Development Authority (CDA).

According to private TV channel ARY News, the CDA has also demolished some parts of the PTI office. Sources indicate that the office will not be used for any political activities. CDA officials stated that illegal constructions by the political party in Sector G-4/8 are being removed. They mentioned that large-scale encroachments had been established by taking over the adjoining land, and the operation was carried out to enforce building regulations and remove these encroachments.

Additionally, PTI leader Amir Mughal was arrested for resisting the operation against the encroachments. PTI Chairman Barrister Gauhar said that this is not the first time such actions have been taken under the cover of darkness. He announced plans to go to court today against the sealing and demolition of the central office. He stated that despite the situation, he would hold the scheduled meeting next to the demolished wall of the office.

Barrister Gauhar mentioned that PTI had been advocating for dialogue and moving forward with a different approach. He criticized the actions, saying that it is unacceptable to talk about dialogue while carrying out such operations. He also commented on the pre-election scenario, stating that although the party had acquired an election symbol, the public had given a strong response.

Barrister Gauhar further added that the transgender community is a respected part of the country, and everyone knows who was behind the attack on Rauf Hassan disguised as a transgender person.
